Genevieve is a nationally board certified acupuncturist. She obtained a Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Seattle Institute of East Asian Medicine in 2019. She is trained in Chinese and Japanese acupuncture techniques, Chinese herbal medicine, Zheng Gu Tui Na and Shiatsu massage. Her passion lies in working within the realms of women’s health, psycho-emotional wellbeing and musculoskeletal pain conditions. She has done extensive study in the use of acupuncture for infertility and as adjunctive support for IVF. 

Genevieve was first introduced to acupuncture and herbal medicine as a child, and it has been a constant source of healing and inspiration throughout her life. In her free time, she enjoys playing with her kids, spending time in nature, strength training, reading novels and stoking her passion for education and personal growth. Prior to opening MOONFLOWER, she practiced out of bustling clinics for many years in Seattle. She is grateful to bring her work home to the community of Bainbridge Island, where she lives with her husband, toddler son and baby daughter.

I am currently able to bill acupuncture services for the following health plans:

  • Regence

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield (most)

  • Community Health Plan of WA

If your insurance carrier isn’t on this list, you may still be able to get your insurance provider to pay for your visits!

At your request, I can provide you with a detailed receipt to send to your insurance company to request reimbursement.

All patients must verify acupuncture benefits with their insurance carrier prior to their first visit.

It is your responsibility to understand the benefits and restrictions of your individual plan. Claims are not guaranteed covered until they process.  Any unpaid balance by the insurance company will be the responsibility of the patient.

If needed, I can provide you with a verification form to assist you in the process of calling your insurance company to understand your benefits.
